“Vasylia” linen blouse with brown embroideries
Description

'Vasylia' is a replica of an old Ukrainian folk shirt, from the Oblast of Cherkasy.


Made of unbleached natural linen, just like the original, 'Vasylia' is delicately embroidered with geometric patterns. Embroideries decorate the cuffs, shoulders, and collar, which is closed and adjusted behind the neck with a tied ribbon.



Our model Elena is 171 cm tall (5'6) and wears the size S/M.

Her measurements are : bust 84 cm 33' / waist 66 cm 25.9' / hips 93 cm 36.6'.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
