"Valeska" blouse
Description

A more widespread shirt variant in Europe, particularly in Slavic and Anglo-Saxon countries, “Valeska” and its loose fit is suitable for all genders and body shapes, including bigger chests.
This versatile cut has survived several centuries and was once closed only with a fibula or a brooch, to prevent the wringing, caused by a wooden bat against a stone, from breaking the buttons... Our modern washing machines being much gentler with our clothes, we decided to use buttons, more contemporary, for a practical aspect. However, you can wear it with your favorite brooch.


Chloé is 165 cm (5'5") tall, and wears size S/M. Her measurements are 91 cm (36") bust, 69 cm (27") waist, and 101 cm (40") hips.

Elvira (blonde model) is 170 cm (5'6") tall, and wears size S/M. Her measurements are 91 cm (35.8") bust, 66 cm (25.9") waist, and 90 cm (35.4") hips.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
