"Pia" black cotton voile blouse
Description

The "Pia" blouse is inspired by men's “amigaut” front slit shirts of the Renaissance. With a straight collar with gathers and being lightweight and soft, it can be worn all year round, layered in the winter, or as is during the summer to protect the skin from the sun and insect bites, as it was intended.


Made in a soft cotton gauze of 60g/m2, this blouse has a loose cut, dropped shoulders, and is slightly see-through. The cuffs are closed with buttons.

Chermila is 169 cm (5'7") tall, and wears size S/M. Her measurements are 90 cm (35.4") bust, 68 cm (26.7") waist, and 89 cm (35") hips.

Lise has wavy hair, is 176 cm (5'9") tall, and wears size L/XL. Her measurements are 115 cm (45") bust, 98 cm (38.5") waist, and 128 cm (50.5") hips.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
