"Nadia" linen top with burgundy embroideries
Description

If only one word were to describe the “Nadia,” it would be “versatile.”

Worn tucked into a skirt, it becomes a top. Released and worn on its own, it is a light summer dress. The choice depends on the wearer’s height and preference.

The easy switch between the two is owed to a few panels which, strategically inserted from midpoint down, create a playful volume.

This duality can be observed in the model photos, where Marion wears the “Nadia” as a top. At 180cm, her height makes the garment appear shorter than it would on most people. However, most others will find that it is long enough to be comfortably worn on its own, a light summer dress for the warmest days of the year.

The “Nadia” top/dress was inspired by a vintage summer garment we have had in our possession for a long time. With a few modifications, it found new life. The above mentioned panels were added in to create movement and multiple options for wear. The filet lace at the top closes with two buttons and is interrupted only by two panels carrying a stylized pomegranate motif from the Rábaköz region in Hungary. 

Marion is 180 cm (5'11") and wears a size S/M. Her measurements are: bust 90 cm (35.4") / waist 69 cm (27.1") / hips 97 cm (38.1").

Crafted from 100% linen and easy to care for, this piece can be machine washed at 30°C. We recommend using a regular machine wash cycle with spinning, as it helps the natural fibres regain their shape. To preserve its beauty over time, wash separately or with similar colours.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
