"Louisa" frock coat in black cotton
Description


This frock coat is inspired by early 1900s Austrian tailoring, where structure, refinement, and delicate ornamentation meet. Crafted from 100% cotton and fully lined in cotton, it offers both comfort and presence, with a silhouette that gently flares from the waist to create an elegant, elongated line.


The collar is richly decorated with full stitched ornaments, recalling traditional alpine craftsmanship. The front pockets feature refined flaps, enhanced by finely carved bronze buttons that add a timeless, heritage-inspired accent.


The coat is defined by its gigot sleeves, which create volume at the shoulders before tapering gracefully along the arms. Ornamental stitching continues on the cuffs, completing the piece with subtle character and detail.


A garment that bridges historical influence and contemporary wear, structured, feminine, and evocative of grand countryside wardrobes from the turn of the century.

Annette is 1.75 m tall (5’9”), with a bust measurement of about 84 cm (33”) and a waist measurement of 65 cm (25.5”). She is wearing size S. The coat features four pockets: two on the front and two discreetly placed inside the side seams.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
