For those who walk beneath the silver moon, the Lavinia cape evokes the quiet authority of winter at dusk. Crafted from deep velvet and fully lined with 100% cotton, it offers warmth and comfort while maintaining a fluid, elegant drape. A fur trim frames the silhouette, lending the piece a sense of wild, restrained nobility.


Its wide hood falls softly around the head like a crown, while the sides and back are embroidered with the Hungarian deer motif, a symbol rooted in folklore and ancestral strength. The generous cut moves freely with the body, enveloping the wearer in a protective, timeless presence.

This item is available on pre-order. Estimated delivery is end of May. Once your order is placed, you will receive regular email updates throughout the crafting process.

We searched extensively for a wool or plant-based faux fur to replace the recycled polyester trim used on earlier versions. Despite reaching out to multiple suppliers across Europe and Asia, we were unable to find a viable natural alternative at our scale. This final batch will therefore use the original faux fur trim. We wanted to be transparent about this, and remain committed to finding a solution for future versions.

This preorder applies exclusively to Lavinia pieces. If your order includes both an in-stock item and a Lavinia preorder piece, all items will be shipped together in a single shipment. Additional shipping fees may apply if a partial shipment is requested, or if circumstances require it.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
