"Cosima" black shift dress with short sleeves
Description

The “Cosima” dress is a delicate garment with authentic charm.
Inspired by the underwear from the past, it is the heiress of the shift dress, a light piece that used to be worn under the corset to avoid soiling the clothes.


We have made it a garment in its own right, whose pleasant cotton poplin makes it easy to maintain, and ideal for hot summer days.
Versatile, it can be worn alone, with your bustiers, or lined with your favorite skirt… Unless you wish to wear it as a nightgown, as its ancestors may have been worn.


Our model Chermila is 169 cm tall (5'6) and wears the size S/M.

Her measurements are : bust 90cm 35.4' / waist 68cm 26.7'/ hips 89cm 35'.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
