"Constanze" austrian dirndl (Mieder) Tyrol green
Description

The “Constanze” dirndl is very close to our hearts because it is a direct tribute to our origins. A legacy of a type of folk costume worn by the aristocracy in the Alps region since the second half of the nineteenth century, originally inspired by rural clothing: the name Dirndl comes from 'Dirne,' which means 'young lady' in Austrian dialect.

The bustier is made in very high-end cotton velvet and lined with floral cotton. Many dirndls feature lacing up the front, but some are buttoned up. We chose this version because the back lacing can be easily adjusted to fit your size.

Chloé is 165 cm (5’5”) tall and wears size XS. Her measurements are 91 cm (36”) bust, 69 cm (27”) waist, and 101 cm (40”) hips.
