"Astrid" dress black with contrasting embroideries
Description

The "Astrid" dress draws inspiration from folk aesthetics, adorned with Hungarian-style embroideries on the bust, sleeves, and hem. Its charismatic square neckline is adorned with delicate cotton lace.
Two small pleats can be found on the sleeves and above the hem embroideries, allowing you to customize the lengths according to your bodyshape by adding or removing them.


Crafted from washed and soft cotton, the 'Astrid' dress is suitable for summer and mid-season wear and can even be paired with a turtleneck and thick tights in winter.

A belt, also embroidered, is attached to the bottom of the front yoke, allowing you to emphasize the waist by tying it at the back. It's easy to slip into thanks to the left side zipper, and the dress features two pockets in the side seams.


The embroideries on the 'Astrid' dress are the result of our research and craftsmanship. They are freely inspired and designed by us. They are not associated with a protected cultural heritage and pay tribute to Hungarian culture.


Our model Zélie is 173 cm tall (5'7) and wears the size Small.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
