'Svyra' Lituanian bird bracelet sterling silver
Description
Shaped like a small sparrow, the Svyra bracelet carries the gentle strength of Baltic tradition.

In Lithuanian folk art (sodžiaus menas), the bird was both a messenger of the divine, a guardian of the soul, and a protector of the home. A symbol of freedom and renewal, it bridged earth and sky and embodied the continuity of life.


At the heart of this bird lies the ancient rosette, the Saulutė, or “little sun.” Carved for centuries into wood and ritual treasures, this timeless solar motif embodies warmth, fertility, and the eternal cycle of life. Also known as the Gyvybės ratas (wheel of life), it speaks of protection (Apsauga), rebirth, and cosmic balance under the guidance of the sun goddess Saulė.
