'Primula major' bracelet in silver and peridot
Description

At the heart of the “Primula Major” bracelet, the primrose. This exquisite wildflower blooms at the start of spring and, in folk belief, represents the rebirth and renewal that are promised after a long winter. Treasured for its medicinal virtues, the primrose often appears as such in the old Augustinian embroideries, remedy and ornament in one.
The lattice that makes up the charm is inspired by paper cutting, a folk skill that prizes symmetry and detail. Finally, the charm is set with a magnificent faceted peridot, a gem long thought to alleviate ailments of the heart and to steady the mind, while also offering self-esteem and confidence to its wearer.
