"Nelda" embroidered black velvet over dress
Description

The 'Nelda' overdress pays tribute to the elegance and opulence of Renaissance clothing.


Crafted from black cotton velvet, it is sumptuously adorned with golden embroidery, adding a precious touch to your outfit, reminiscent of the finest Byzantine jewels.

Its charming lacing allows for easy adjustment, making it perfect to layer over your light summer dresses as well as your sweaters and long skirts in winter.


Please note that the black 'Cosima' dress shown in the photos is not included.


Chermila (first model) is 169 cm tall (5'6) and wears the size Small.

This piece is made in India, where we've worked with the same workshop for almost 10 years. India is the birthplace of cotton and home to over 500 embroidery techniques, some of the world's oldest. We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
