"Gisela" black embroidered crossover dress
Description

The "Gisela" dress is a delightful sun dress or pinafore that will become your faithful companion throughout the seasons.


With its cross-over bodice and refined embroidery, inspired by traditional Baltic papercut art, it exudes charm and timeless elegance. 'Gisela' effortlessly adjusts to you with sliding shoulder straps and a waistline enhanced by a sliding belt that wraps around the entire waist. The skirt flares out gracefully and includes functional pockets for added practicality.


This versatile dress can be worn over blouses, dresses, or sweaters throughout the year, and it’s also perfect worn on its own during the summer months. For added coverage or modesty, we recommend wearing a tank top underneath or securing the cross-over with a small safety pin.


The dress is shown here with the 'Cosima' top (not included).

We chose to produce here not for cost, but for unmatched expertise in handwork and natural materials.

Our workshop has deep knowledge of traditional embroidery and garment construction. Together, we explore both European folk patterns and Indian craft techniques, mixing traditions to create something new. It's a collaboration we're proud of.

All production meets rigorous standards: BSCI for social ethics, OEKO-TEX® for textile safety, and full transparency throughout the supply chain.
